Who we are looking for We are looking for an enthusiastic Video Production Specialist with superb design skills and expertise in information organization, instructional design, visual communication, and storytelling to create a wide range of educational videos for our online learning products.
You will work closely with editors, SMEs, instructional designers, and multimedia designers to produce educational videos covering a variety of topics, add interactivity to instructional videos, and collaborate on how those videos are integrated into existing instructional content.
Team communication is crucial, and you should be able to give and receive feedback graciously.
Responsibilities Work independently and with members of the Content team to conceptualize and implement accessible educational videos for use in online courses.
Create and edit motion graphics, videos, and audio recordings to excellent technical and instructional design standards.
Accurately archive and tag existing video assets.
Create archiving standards for future use, such as naming conventions, metadata tags, and file size/type requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements BS in technical communication, media, instructional design, educational technology or similar.
3-5 years proven work experience in a related field (online education preferred) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
– prioritization, planning, and task delivery Experience managing different stages of the creative process (conceptualization, storyboarding, animating) Digital Portfolio
