The Village Vet is seeking a highly-skilled, enthusiastic Veterinary Technician for our very busy 4+ doctor GP practice. Our focus is on quality patient care, exceptional customer service and a team that consistently rocks!
The Perfect Candidate will be Experienced with:
Venipunture: IV catheter placements and blood draws
Knowledge of common medications used in a GP setting
Proficiency operating IDEXX lab equipment
Assisting the doctor in surgery and monitoring hospitalized patients Cornerstone experience preferred
Client communication
Requirements
2 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant/RVT in a veterinary hospital preferred
Available to work weekends and holidays Great interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written Open-minded Preferences RVT licensed preferred, but not required
