WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Sales Enablement Officer, TMS will be responsible for developing treasury management solutions messaging, content and enablement tools to support sales activities. This individual collaborates with portfolio management & segment solutions teams and sales officers to develop thought leadership content and client facing materials that convey the value proposition and tangible benefits of our solutions. This position requires a broad understanding of treasury management solutions and interest in developing deep expertise around CNB’s offerings.

Treasury Management Solutions Division
As a member of City National’s Treasury Management Solutions group, you will make a difference by delivering integrated technology solutions to help clients more efficiently manage their businesses and working capital. This group drives and supports the bank’s cash management products and services that won City National four of its 11 Greenwich Excellence Awards in 2018.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Work with Segment Solutions and Product Managers to understand our client segments, priorities and treasury management solutions, and develop solutions messaging that highlights client pain points and treasury management solution benefits.
  • Ensure consistency of TMS messaging with Enterprise City National brand.Create sales enablement tools and content, including slides, collateral, FAQs, videos, proposal content, client testimonials, white papers/thought leadership and RFP content. Ensure consistency of TMS messaging with Enterprise City National brand.
  • Create communications content including colleague and client emails, articles, white papers.
  • Manage vendors/agencies as needed to support development of enablement tools.
  • Develop solutions briefs and other internal presentations to help educate City National colleagues and enable broader understanding of how our solutions benefit clients.
  • Lead efforts around internal and external events at which Treasury Management Solutions colleagues attend.
  • Work on special projects as needed, for example: collaborating with CNB Marketing and LOB partners on implementing sales enablement technology and content repository, assisting with product migration projects, responding to internal audits, etc.
  • Manage and maintain all enablement tools in repository, including working with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure legality and compliance of sales, marketing and communication tools and materials.
  • Comply fully with all Bank Operational and Credit policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must-Have*

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years in the area of product marketing, sales enablement or communications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the financial industry in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel), and familiarity and willingness to develop expertise in HTML, SharePoint, Adobe, Salesforce and Seismic (sales enablement platform)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Desire to understand complex solution and how products work
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to work in a collaborative and “hands-on” team player able to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Flexible, able to adapt to tight deadlines, changing priorities and needs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: General knowledge of treasury management solutions
