The Role Using Lean Manufacturing/Lean Business techniques along with skills applied in Six Sigma statistical analysis, the candidate will work with a mentor and independently to execute continuous improvement projects.

These projects will span multiple business units of the organization and will give the candidate exposure to senior leaders while staying rooted in shop floor activities.

In conjunction with project execution, the candidate will be instructed in and will improve skills in the use of statistical analysis software (Excel, Minitab) as well as PowerPoint and verbal presentation/communication skills to all levels of the organization Responsibilities will include: Use of Lean Manufacturing and 6-Sigma tools Solid problem solving and root cause analysis capability Biased towards action and promoting change Prepared to spend time in the manufacturing space The Candidate Currently enrolled in a College or University Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study Targeted Start Dates of Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 (minimum: 2 sessions) Eligible to legally work in the United States Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the co-op Catalent’s standard leadership competencies that are used to interview and for Performance & Development: Leads with Integrity and Respect Delivers Results Demonstrates Business Acumen Fosters Collaboration and Teamwork Champions Change Engages and Inspires Coaches and Develops Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career Join the global drug development and delivery leader and help us bring over 7,000 life-saving and life-enhancing products to patients around the world.
