Under supervision of the OR Nurse Manager/and or Charge Nurse, the Anesthesia Technician assists in the care and preparation of the anesthesia supplies and equipment in accordance with hospital policy.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:2-5 years recent (within the last three years) full time equivalent operating room experience in an acute care setting.Completion of an approved Anesthesia Tech or Surgical Tech training course required.EDUCATION:High School Graduate or equivalent.LICENSURES/CERTIFICATION:Anesthesia Tech or Surgical Tech certification preferred.Current BLS card.LA County Fire Card certification at the time of hire or within the first 30 days of employmentDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (These are the essential job functions for this position.
