UX Engineer

*Position Description:*
Under the supervision of the Information Technology Coordinator, the User Experience (UX) Graphic Designer will assist in the full life cycle of UX design and user-centered design methodologies and processes, including, but not limited to research, empathize, define, ideate, design, prototype, and testing. Additional responsibilities will include rendering design graphics for all sites and applications developed and/or implemented by the UCLA Asian American Studies Center (AASC). This position will work with the AASC’s Director, stakeholders, and project staff to develop, document, and assess success of strategic UX and design goals. The User Experience Graphic Designer will lead usability, prototyping, and audience testing; iterate models; assess targeted progress and goals; design graphics and visuals according to UCLA’s accessibility, branding, and design protocols.
