Placement Representative – Casualty

The Placement Representative works independently in the preparation of documentation and submissions, assisting with analyzing quotes and makes requests for as well as overseeing follow-up for changes from underwriters.

We will count on you to:
- Prepare documentation and submissions for market, including specifications, loss records and summary reports
- Assist with analyzing and collecting quotes, comparing quotes for markets, reviewing existing client insurance and risk programs and preparing proposal components
- Process necessary documentation and follow up on outstanding documentation with the appropriate party to ensure the smooth continuation of processes
- Request and oversee follow-up for changes from underwriters and review coverage specifications to be submitted to carriers/underwriters to ensure they are accurate
What you need to have:
- High School Diploma/GED with 1 – 2 year of work experience servicing clients or customer service experience in an office based setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) and Business Objects.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn proprietary applications/databases (e.g., MART)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrix team environment
- Great attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Clear written and oral communication skills

- Bachelor’s degree
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license currently held OR willing and able to obtain within the first three months of hire
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
