Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in the following areas:
- General: abdominal, OB/GYN, pelvic
- Vascular: arterial, venous, carotid
- Small Parts: thyroid, testicular, breast, soft tissue
- Prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and acquire optimal images.
- Provide accurate preliminary impressions to referring providers.
- Travel to multiple urgent care locations as part of a mobile diagnostic team.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation and image uploads using EMR/PACS.
- Maintain professional communication with staff and patients.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of hospital-based experience in diagnostic medical sonography is MUST .
- Certified by ARDMS in at least two specialties (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, or Small Parts).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle a full schedule efficiently.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to provide preliminary findings with confidence.
- Proficient in sonographic techniques, patient positioning, and image optimization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, patient-first demeanor.
- Comfortable working on-call, including occasional weekends or evenings.
- Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (required).
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for mobile assignments.
