As a key member of the organization, you”ll be working alongside the Training Director and with the County to support a Commercial Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) training plan, which will also include a broader category of Human Trafficking; provide trainings using previously developed curriculums as well as develop new curriculum and training to help improve the safety and well-being of minor victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitations and Human trafficking.
The Training Specialist is responsible to provide leadership and direct supervision to the team of trainers, and includes but is not limited to the following:General Duties:Provide leadership and direct supervision to the CSEC Training TeamCoordinate all training logistics, including securing training spaces, arranging parking, ensuring audio/visual equipment is set up, and ordering refreshments;Ensure trainers are adequately prepared to facilitate trainings, including possessing extensive knowledge of the subject matter;Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training courses based on data collected, oral and written feedback received from attendees, and monitoring of trainer presentations;Monitor and track the delivery of services, the achievement of training goals, and making adjustments as necessary in order to continually improve the course curriculumCoordinate training and conference enrollment/ registration; collect and maintain all related documentation as specified in the grant contract.
Provide certificates of completion to all training participants;Represent Cast at county meetings in partnership with the Training Director;Deliver trainings as required;Other duties assigned by the Training Director and CountyMinimum Requirements:a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years training on the CSEC population to groups of 250 or more;at least five (5) years of experience developing curriculum on CSEC;five (5) years of experience working in collaboration with other organizations developing CSEC curriculum;five (5) years” experience working with victims and youth at-risk of CSE;experience working with CSEC and LGBTQ+ population; andTraining program management experience.Highly organized.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Based in Los Angeles, CATo apply, please submit a Resume and Cover Letter, you can also check out other opportunities on our company portal: This is a contract position for a period of three (3) years, but may be extended at the sole discretion of the County.
