Ensuring the health and safety of everyone that works at CO-OP is of primary importance to us. The majority of our organization continues to be in a work-from-home status. This allows for better social distancing practices for those of our employees that do remain in our office locations. We continue to work diligently to maintain everyone’s health and safety by keeping the facilities clean, having everyone screened for temperatures upon entry and providing information about symptoms and what to do if employees feel sick. Our COVID response team has been working tirelessly since March and continues to provide transparent communication around COVID cases and re-entry plans.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Training Intern to be responsible for assisting with course maintenance and training preparations. Additionally, this individual will facilitate instructor led training sessions for CO-OP staff. This individual will receive real-life application of and guidance into the Analysis, Develop and Evaluate phases of the ADDIE training model.

  • Our Spring Internship Program takes place January 10-May 6, 2022.

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Supporting training delivery by planning, organizing and monitoring training sessions.
  • Facilitate instructor led training sessions.
  • Assist in designing effective training sessions, including applying fundamental adult learning principles to assist and support the ADDIE training model.
  • Maintaining training documentation: updating content, uploading documentation, creating registrations.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to confirm the accuracy of training materials.
  • Assist in report generation and dashboard reporting.
  • Administer post training evaluations.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning assessments.
  • Researching and reporting on training inquiries/tickets.
  • Understand products and services offered by CO-OP and applying that knowledge to training.
  • Assist in the development of Best Practices (processes and procedures) for the department including research, information gathering and documentation to support department initiatives.
  • Create and maintain ET&S content for Intranet/SharePoint site.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered and maintained at all times.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in one of the following fields: Adult Learning, Education, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn and use new systems quickly.
  • General knowledge of adult learning principles and the ADDIE training model.
  • Interpersonal and human relationships.
  • Solid organizational skills including time management.
  • Presentation skills including verbal and written communications.
  • Analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adhering to deadlines.
  • Creative approach to communications, problem solving and brainstorming.
  • Database management is a plus.
