Title of Role: Tournament Coordinator Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Manager: Director of Special Events Date: August 2021 Summary The Future Starz Tournament Series, an All-Star Baseball Academy company, is currently seeking a Tournament Coordinator.

The Future Starz Tournament Series is the Nations Premier Provider of Guaranteed College Exposure Events.

All-Star Baseball Academy (ASBA), the Delaware Valleys premier organization for developing young athletes through mentoring, instruction and competition, was founded in 1998.

Our 5 academies: Broomall, West Chester, Downingtown, Warminster and Cherry Hill combine for a total of 120,000 square feet in training area for young athletes.

Our facilities are state of the art and allow us to perform more private lessons than any other organization in the Delaware Valley.

In addition to over 40,000 lessons annually, we also offer group programs, rentals, college recruiting opportunities, and run over 80 travel teams annually.

The ASBA corporate headquarters provides the leadership, management, structure, and training for over 135 staff members throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

This allows us to develop and deliver the highest quality experience for our players and affiliates.

The Special Events division affords aspiring baseball players the opportunity to showcase their abilities in Prospect Camps, Showcase Tournaments, and our Futures Teams in front of hundreds of College Coaches annually.

As a result, we are proud of the more than 1000 ASBA players that have gone on to play in College or Professional baseball.

Our dedicated and experienced staff is committed to the mission of inspiring and mentoring young athletes, ages 5-18, to become successful individuals one game, one lesson and one player at a time.

Duties And Responsibilities As a Tournament Coordinator you will be responsible for the operations side of Special Events baseball tournaments and camps.

Build tournament schedules Retrieve and consolidate registrant COI and rosters Recruit, coordinate and manage tournament staffing Schedule and manage umpires through the umpire assigner Secure tournament venues and manage venue upkeep Serve as a customer service representative to the customers including parents, players, and coaches during tournaments answering questions about their schedules and other details Convey a high level of professionalism at all times, representing the Future Starz brand name, while providing extraordinary external and internal customer service Embody the initiative and passion to help uphold the values established by the All-Star Baseball Academy/Future Starz Tournament Series mission and brand Work with staff to effectively achieve objectives while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for customers Qualification Requirements Previous experience building tournament baseball schedules Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Strong multi-tasker Positive, energetic attitude Customer-oriented Reliable and punctual Basic computer skills Ability to work evenings and weekends Physical Requirements/Working Conditions You may be required to lift up to 70 lbs.

and may be exposed to dust/dirt and hot temperatures.
