SUMMARY
The Product Specialist develops new and existing business and consumer banking relationships by proactively soliciting new business to meet and to exceed assigned goals.
Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and complies with all State and Federal banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, Customers Right to Privacy Act, Regulation D, Regulation DD/Truth in savings, USA Patriot Act, CIP, Elder Care, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and Privacy requirements as they pertain to this position. This position is responsible for escalating suspicious activity to the BSA.
REQUIRED DUTIES
Responsible for TMS sales and deposit growth
Develops new businesses by creating business development strategies and call/visit
Serve as the internal Bank expert for treasury management and deposit products, actively participates in sales meetings, joint call planning, and prospect development in partnership with Branch Managers and other RMs.
Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.). Must complete all required training
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office
Strong knowledge of bank’s deposit products and TMS services
Excellent customer service/relations skills
Demonstrate sales and marketing skills
Sales experience in the commercial banking or merchant/payment industry
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from 4-year University
Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking or sales which includes experience in rapid growth
We offer a competitive total rewards package for this full-time position within the salary range of $58,000 – $70,000. Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location. Exact compensation may vary based on your skills and experience.
