The Tier 1 Operations Analyst will be responsible for monitoring activities ensuring system availability for a multi-functional platform hosted in AWS GovCloud.

Monitoring activities include utilizing operational toolsets (Splunk, AppDynamics) to understand infrastructure behavior and proactively identify issues.

The Analyst will also be responsible for responding to system alerts and perform basic troubleshooting and triage activities to restore system availability.

Additional job functions may include: Manage Production incidents and coordinate with other team as needed to resolve themInitiate problem tickets for incidents requiring a code changeReport daily status to executive leadershipDefine operational requirements for new functionalityAssist with the creation of operational functional designs for system enhancements or operational toolsServe as a liaison between Tier 1 Operations and other teams to coordinate activities that require cross-team supportDesired Experience & SkillsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or minimum of 2 years in application and/or cloud infrastructure operationsLinux or Infrastructure AdministrationScripting Languages (examples: Bash, Python, PHP, Perl, Ansible, etc)Programming Languages (Java, C, C++, C#, Ruby, etc)TroubleshootingNice-to-Have SkillsAWS or similar Cloud PlatformSIEM or log aggregation tools (Splunk, ArcSight, or similar)Application monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Nagios, or similar)NetworkingU.S.
