Location: Los Angeles, CADescription: Our client is currently seeking a production planner This job will have the following responsibilities:QualificaA growing food/beverage manufacturer located in Southern CA is currently searching for a production planner.
To be considered, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling a complex (high number of SKUs) consumer products manufacturing facility (preferably packaging food manufacturing.
In addition, the person hired must be bi-lingual in Spanish and a degree is highly desired.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning of manufacturing processes for production and timely delivery on customer expectations, The plant scheduler is expected to be knowledgeable of the processes across the facility, and make sure that materials, processes, and staffing are aligned with schedule, and collaborative with plant leadership to assure that factors negatively impacting schedule achievement are rectified.
In this role, you will utilize the order management and shop floor systems, review demand, inventory (of both raw materials and finished goods), capacity (based on readiness of equipment and manpower), and create the production schedule to meet required demand and inventory levels.
