Location: REMOTEDescription: Our client is currently seeking a Back End Scala Enginee This job will have the following responsibilities: You will design and develop code alongside a growing multi-disciplinary team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Solutions Experts.
Your work includes developing tools to support complex analytics, simulation modeling, deep learning, and artificial intelligence within the Fractal OS SaaS platform.
Specific development tasks will range from core service development and improvements to near real-time and batch-oriented data processing for analytics and simulation modeling.
Qualifications & Requirements: 2+ years of development expertise Expert knowledge of Scala, sbt, and Maven, git Experience with well-known Scala libraries, including Akka, Spark, Shapeless Experience with RESTful API development and agile development Testing and software QA experience, including performance profiling, static analysis, and dynamic analysis Desirable Experience with containerization of complex services, load testing and previous deployments of production systems to AWS Experience with any of these tools, Docker, Jenkins, Gatling, OpenAPI/Swagger, Scala.Js, Grunt, Bower, Lift Advanced mathematical modeling skills Contact: mevangelista@judge.comThis job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
