Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Territory Assistant (TA) role is a developmental role for candidates with limited electrophysiology (EP), medical device or sales experience.
This is an opportunity to enter medical device sales at base level and work your way up as your skills and abilities develop and more clinical sales positions become available.
The Territory Assistant will need to learn and understand the Robotic Magnetic Navigation (RMN) technology, the basics of EP, the dynamics of an EP lab, and the business of disruptive robotic medical device sales.
The Territory Assistantwill provide value to the sales team by assisting with system maintenance/ upgrades, creating marketing content in support of physician practices, engaging, likely by phone in top of funnel expansion for capital targets, providing clinical coverage to low complexity largely independent EP procedures, and training of EP lab staff and other various tasks.
When a Clinical Specialist (CS) territory becomes available and the TA meets the requirements of the Clinical Specialist position, the TA could be promoted to a Clinical Specialist.
As a Clinical Specialist you will provide customers and end users with product, clinical/ technical, educational, and sales support to maximize recurring revenue, utilization of company products, and customer service objectives.The Clinical Specialist will be responsible for physician and customer relationships, be responsible for quarterly sales objectives, and strive the grow the clinical business through the growth of robotic ablation procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Learn the technical complexities of the Stereotaxis robotic system.
*Learn key clinical, workflow, and equipment involved in EP procedures through case observations, guided instruction, simulator sessions, and independent study.
*Provide independent support in low complexity EP procedures.
*Promotes the safe and effective use of Stereotaxis products and related procedures.
*Calling of hospital labs to uncover lab information for the capital team
*Calling physicians offices to set up telerobotic site visits for potential capital customers
*Learn the aspects of SPIN selling to uncover unmet customer needs at every customer opportunity
*Be proactive, responsible, flexible, and take ownership of your development.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
*Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business fields preferred.
*Clinical knowledge of Invasive Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
*Position is a national position but would likely need to be located in St.
Louis, Los Angeles or New York City.
*Position could require travel to an area for a couple to several weeks and haspotentialto be up to 80% travel.
*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of radiation.
*The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
*Be prepared to relocate throughout the country based upon the availability of Clinical Specialist territories.
