Lecturer appointments are established quarter by quarter according to the instructional needs and budget constraints of the department.

Applications will be kept on file for consideration for any openings that may occur throughout the year.

The Department does not acknowledge receipt or status of applications unless requested.We seek candidates who can support our undergraduate program and teach courses in one or more of the following areas: Contexts of Teaching, Learning, and Development; Histories and Philosophies of Education; and Inquiry and Design for Learning.

Candidates must have previous undergraduate teaching experience and a doctorate in Education or a related discipline.

Responsibilities will include developing the syllabus and course; lecturing; holding regularly scheduled office hours; being responsive and helpful to students; developing assignments, papers, and/or exams; grading assignments, papers and/or exams; and managing teaching assistants.
