JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to hire a part-time Music Librarian to assist with ingesting music assets into our internal music library. The successful candidate should be detail oriented and have a love of music.
This position is for 15-weeks from mid-January 2022 to the beginning of April 2022.
JOB SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ingest received audio into Kobalt’s music library for access by Kobalt synch creatives
- Tagging ingested music with keywords to assist Kobalt synch creatives in their searches
- Detailed oriented
- Experience in and basic knowledge of iTunes, Spotify and music files (i.e. WAV, AIFF, MP3)
- A music enthusiast as this role will see the candidate working across various genres and various musical eras
- Sending reports to the team of newly ingested audio
- Working with the writer and publisher relations team to identify songs in need of registration
