The candidate will serve in the IP Licensing and Technology Transactions practice. Will work primarily on advising companies across the corporate lifecycle, from early-stage private companies to late-stage private and public companies, in connection with standalone transactions in the life sciences industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare IT. Must have experience with the following: Advising life science, biotechnology, biopharma and/or pharmaceutical companies on licensing and intellectual property related issues; drafting and negotiating life sciences-related commercial agreements including patent and technology licenses, material transfer agreements, supply, quality and distribution agreements, clinical trial agreements, collaboration and strategic alliance agreements, contract research agreements, and master services agreements; supporting larger transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, financings and joint ventures for or involving life science, biotechnology, biopharma and/or pharmaceutical companies. Biology or Biology-related degree preferred. An interest in life science companies and their products and technologies is important.
