Technical Specialist Team Leader

Summary:

The Technical Specialist Team Leader assists in the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all shared IT infrastructure functions of the company. The Technical Specialist Team Leader will meet internal and external customer requirements, maintenance of existing infrastructure and assist in the development of new technical solutions and initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the team of Technical Specialist
  • Manage and prioritize the IT tasks of the company
  • Support existing infrastructure and develop new technical solutions. Work with R&D closely to develop and manage quality product line.
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources, including acceptance, registration, and shipment of the same when required.
  • Provide overall maintenance and support of all equipment and inventory.
  • Perform installation of all hardware and software, conducting tests, resolving problems.
  • Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintain a superior knowledge of product line, product utilization, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Responsible for assembly and setup the product line products per their FDA cleared build procedures and the direct guidance from engineering.
  • Responsible for assembly / teardown whatever systems or products are needed for tradeshows or other company events.
  • Responsible for all shipping activities to ensure proper delivery and recovery of company hardware to / from tradeshows or other company events
  • Responsible for performing all logistic activities as defined by operations
  • Responsible for maintaining the company storage, lab, and HQ floor per FDA regulations defined in the company quality system.
  • Ensure timely technical and Admin support, troubleshooting, problem solving of all technical issues for all locations regarding all IT equipment.
  • Remain current in the utilization of technology by attending training sessions, seminars, and workshops.
  • Position involves a considerable amount of travel inside and outside of the US.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Skills/Requirements:

  • Experience in Computer IT, software and hardware installations
  • MS Windows OS, macOS
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining computer networks.
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Technical competency in using infrastructure management tools.
  • Licensed driver.
  • Passport holder, available for international travel.
  • A+ certification & Network+ certification
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds occasionally
