Position Description SummarySupports various LAMP teams with tracking, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting on program and project risks.Essential Job DutiesRISK Tracking and analysis: Manage the Risk database ensure compliance with Program goals and objectives.* Responsible for entering, tracking and monitoring the Risk Management database.* Coordinates regular updates to the LAMP Risk database.* Supports Commercial Lead and Project Managers during Risk Management task force meetings.* Coordinate with the Project teams weekly Risk meetings.* Assist each LAMP project management teams with identification, assessment, documentation (on the risk register), coordination and mitigation strategies for project-specific risks.* Work with the scheduling sequencing group to modify the original schedule to provide work arounds to resolve issues in Risk Register and others to meet scheduled completion dates.* Hardware/Software Knowledge* MS Office Suite, including Excel and Access, is required.* Demonstrated experience with a PowerPoint is required.* Demonstrated experience with Adobe Acrobat PDF is required.* Sword Active Risk Manager (ARM)or other large-scale, integrated project management solution is highly desirable.* Experience with Risk Management software is highly desirable.* Demonstrated experience supporting multi-user platform in a networked environment.* Professional Experience Level/Other Qualifications* 5-10+ years of experience on capital public works projects of similar complexity, scope, and scale.* Ability to manage technical and commercial documents specific to Roadway, Utilities and Buildings.* Experience with managing and analyzing Construction risk claims.* Professional Engineer registration is preferred.* Demonstrated experience understanding risk in all phases of large P3, design-build and other APD projects, including procurement, design/construction, operations and maintenance.Education/Training* BS in engineering related (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, etc.)* 4-year college degree in related field requiredElement-Specific Requirements/Notes* May assume other duties as required/needed.* Maybe required to work past regular work shift.* Maybe required to work various shifts as needed.* This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule, please refer to LAWAs Pilot Policy for details.
