Project Architect Description: A Project Architect has an understanding of state building, local city and zoning codes. Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project. Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects. Coordinates with project team on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies. Works closely with the Project Director/Manager to execute project plans. Coordinates with Project Director/Manager to directly supervise the teams design, technical delivery and mentors junior staff. Prepares strategic plans for project success. Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Works with project team and mentors junior staff. May serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the clients satisfaction. May perform as a project architect. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
