Information about Agilent is available at www.Agilent.Com.We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Search Technical Lead to build the Agilent’s next-generation search and insights-driven customer experience solutions with a focus on faceted search, e-commerce, omni channel experience and content delivery. This includes designing architectures, solutions, and providing mentorship and sharing to the technical team while working closely with other IT, suppliers, and business partners. This lead role drives technical decisions around enterprise search platforms, reviews software, and is accountable for technical solutions while ensuring the solutions meet IT architectural standard methodologies, compliance, security, and business requirements.In this position, you will perform development, functional reviews, technical design review, lead all aspects of project implementation from start to finish. The candidate should have extensive experience in a technical leadership role with at least one of the pillars of enterprise search: application search, website search, organizational search, ecommerce search. Technical familiarity with Java, integrations protocols, ETL, web experience platforms, performance optimizations, and development toolsets are meaningful abilities as well. You will work closely with IT project managers, architects, suppliers, and business partners to ensure any proposed solutions follow industry best practices.Key Accountabilities:Lead development team to build solutions in Search platforms like Lucidworks Fusion, Coveo, Mindbreeze, Elastic or Sinequa.Drive faceted search experiences on web applications by cleansing and delivery quality customer data.Provide technical leadership in the delivery of projects small to large for digital solutions.Work closely and be in alignment with IT Solution Architect(s) and business team.Participation in project estimation, requirement deep dive, joint application development, release planning, and grooming exercises.Drive and address any critical production issues which have been called out to the project team.Provide recommendations for search optimization/tuning. Lead performance improvement initiates.Drive and perform proof of concept and evaluation for products, new technologies & solutions.Handle vendors and lead key technical decisions/challenges.Diagnose and tackle technical problems related to information architecture, information and product find-ability such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, index shard-ing & scaling, auto tuning and personalization.Work on different project durations ranging from multi-months, quarterly, and even quick prototypes.Translate business requirements into specific solution architecture and implementation proposals.Continually find opportunities to optimize design and algorithms to increase efficiency and site performance.Build solutions that follow Agilent systems, software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.Works with stakeholders to understand enough to provide an effort estimate of business requirements to guide the development team(s) to build a solution that meets the functional requirements.The salary range for this position may differ based on your actual work location.For Colorado residents, the annual salary range is [$104,602 $170,250]#LI-HybridBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of proven experience, including minimum 5 years in ITExperience: Three plus (3+) years of directly related experienceDeep knowledge of one or more of Search or Insights Engine platforms: Lucidworks Fusion, Coveo, Mindbreeze, Elastic, SinequaDeep knowledge of ETL (Extract Transform and Load) processes for indexingDeep knowledge of integrating search with front-end experience management platformsGood understanding of search integrations with Single Page applications in React or AngularGood understanding of shard-ing, scaling on-prem and on cloud for indexesDemonstrates understanding of centralized and distributed cachingExcellent interpersonal, communication and team-facilitation skillsDemonstrates commanding knowledge of NodeJS, Java and common design patternsExperience with Spark ML lib and pipeline is a plusHands-on technical role including chipping in to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, and implementationDemonstrate understanding of lightning fast performance, security, maintainability, and scalabilityExperience working in Agile SCRUM software development teamsFamiliar with the responsive web design using popular UI design patterns such as Material Design, Bootstrap, and FlatStrong experience with query pipelines to deliver personalized and entitled/permissions based resultsKnowledge of algorithms, data structures, web technologies, and protocolsExperience with development pipeline tools such as Git, Maven, JenkinsExperience with data exchange protocols like JSON and XMLAbility to accurately communicate sophisticated technical abstractionsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse team environmentAbility to influence peers and/or management and a champion of standard methodologies that will encourage and drive adoptionExperience with Project Management tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceExperience in AWS or Azure or GCP is a plus.Agilent Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
