The Senior Technical Lead will provide technical leadership and operational management in managing and evolving the ERP solution based on best practices in a Microsoft Dynamics environment. The Senior Technical lead will be part of the IT Applications team within Transamerican Auto parts with responsibilities in code development and deployment, application management, and SOX Compliance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Provide technical review of proposed solutions based on understanding of business needs and direction of technology domain* Estimates development efforts and provides technical guidance to team members* Coordinates and supports the development and deployment of technical solution deliverables* Assist in prototyping business applications to ensure accuracy in design and applicability to user requirements.* Identifies and communicates project risks and concerns with Application Director and project team* Provides recommendations on industry leading best practices, services, and systems footprint for the improvement of business systems usage throughout the company* Performs primary escalation point of contact role for technical issues* Hands-on, active team member of the Applications IT team.Skills & Knowledge:* Bachelor’s Degree or relevant technical experience required* Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology with emphasis in the Microsoft AX2012 / Dynamics 365 Supply Chain platform* ERP implementations (Microsoft Dynamics) in various roles including as a Developer and/or Solutions Architect in all phases in design, planning, development and execution* Knowledge and experience in evolving IT technologies, particularly on the Microsoft platform with tools such as LCS, Azure Dev Ops and Azure Portal* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to quickly synthesize information and develop recommendations.* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Presentation, communication, facilitation skills both oral and written* Capable of managing multiple objectives simultaneously* Self -motivating, required minimal direction* Experience in a SOX compliant environment is preferred* Experience in automotive industry is a plusWorking Conditions:* Standard office environment (possible hybrid remote and on-site)
