Job Description
The Team Lead, Publisher Integration Engineer is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and participating in a team which performs a unique hybrid role of troubleshooting, software development, data analytics, consulting, and project management. In this role, you’ll establish key publisher integrations, monitor and maintain inventory health, lead the development of tools which boost efficiency, become a subject matter expert on key areas of our publisher ad serving systems, and be a key contributor to larger initiatives within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effectively managing a team of Publisher Integration Engineers, including: team oversight, onboarding, training, delegation, and performance.
- Integrate a limited number of key publisher and exchanges into the Epsilon ad serving system.
- Maintain accountability and ensure procedures are being followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve especially challenging and high-priority issues.
- Expand the team’s knowledge-base by deeply engaging with technologies we regularly interact with.
- Participant in the design, implementation, and roll-out of new publisher products and features.
- Provide technical support and expertise to both internal and external teams.
- Improve efficiency by leading the development of tools.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Solid understanding of HTML, Javascript, and SQL, ideally highly proficient in at least one of these.
- Experience with OpenRTB, VAST, VPAID, MRAID, OMSDK
- Proven ability to work effectively with Product and Engineering teams
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
- Adaptable to a dynamic blend of responsibilities
- Ability to lead by example
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 3+ years of online work (DSP/SSP/Direct Publisher) experience in related field
- 3+ years of experience with HTML, SQL and JavaScript
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience successfully managing a team
- Experience in technical documentation writing preferred
- Experience with Node, Angular, Java
- Experience building iOS and Android apps
Salary Range: $76,000-$95,000
