In conjunction with the patient and family, develops individualized patient care plan based on nursing diagnosis.
Provides direct nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities.
Evaluates and documents the patient/family response to nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities.
Maintains a safe working environment, adheres to all hospital policies and procedures and reports problems or concerns to charge nurse or Manager.Qualifications LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:Minimum: RN License, ACLS, BLSPreferred: CCRNEXPERIENCE:Minimum:2-5 years medical surgical or 1 year Critical Care/TelemetryPreferred: 2-5 years Cardiac Telemetry/Critical Care, JCAHO surveyEDUCATION:Minimum: EKG interpretation classPreferred: Critical Care SeriesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Minimum: Cardiac Telemetry, Care of Patients with Heart Failure and post Cardiac Catheterization.Preferred: Critical care, knowledge of JCAHO standards and safety goalsRegional Medical Center of San Jose is 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level IITrauma Center.
