Tax Senior

Our client a boutique CPA firm is looking for an ambitious Tax Senior to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations
  • Perform tax research
  • Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities
  • Assist in federal, state and local tax audits
  • Analyze and review financial statements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CPA candidates are preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years tax preparation and accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with accounting/bookkeeping software including QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of Ultra Tax/Accounting CS software is a plus
  • Experience in financial statements preparation is a Plus
