Responsibilities : Assist in preparation of US, State & Foreign Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740).
This includes assisting in the preparation of numerous book vs.
tax differences;Assist in review of foreign income tax returns and reconciliation of US GAAP financials to local statutory tax returns;Gather supporting documents to prepare the Medpace Federal, State & Local income tax returns;Assist in gathering supporting documents for Federal, State & International audits by tax authorities;Assist Tax Manager/Director on various tax related projects (such as transfer pricing, tax planning initiatives, estimated tax calculations, R tax benefits and other tax incentives);Research changes in tax legislation and its potential impact to Medpace;Assist in compliance with SOX controls for the tax department;May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications : Bachelors degree in accounting and 3-5 years tax experience;Must be able to collaborate in a team environment;Demonstrate ability to present relevant information and facilitate a meeting;Excellent analytical skills with high levels of accuracy;Excellent theoretical and practical grasp of tax and other regulatory principles and how they apply to the business;Excellent organization and time management skills.
