Talent Acquisition Specialist

We’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to become one of them, and to help us find them.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be an important member of the Human Resources team, scheduling interviews, managing the recruiting process, and building candidate relationships.

As the TA Specialist you will be an advocate for candidates ensuring an outstanding candidate experience, operational excellence and a seamless interview process.

You will learn how to build scale-able recruiting programs, interview processes, organizational design and recruitment strategy.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to directly the Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities
Schedule phone, video-conference and in-person interviews; working directly with candidates and hiring managers
Act as the candidates front-line contact through the entire recruiting process.
Effectively assess candidate qualifications through resume reviews, phone screens and in-person interviews.
Provide status updates to candidates via phone, email, text
Conduct initial phone interviews with potential candidates
Meeting with Department Managers to understand staffing needs or concerns
Help coordinate other recruiting activities
Manage our ATS (Greenhouse), assisting to create new positions, writing job descriptions, updating existing job descriptions.
Review inbound candidate applications and determine qualification
Proactively source candidates through multiple channels including social media, direct sourcing, networking, and others.
Build a pipeline of qualified candidates through recruitment channels including passive sourcing, job boards, career fairs, community network events, social media, and other traditional/non-traditional methods.
Determine and execute creative methods for discovering talent.
Perform background and reference checks
Prepare reports on new hire metrics (e.g.

time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire)
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisitions
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse
Be able to manage confidential information
Maintain composure under stressful conditions
