Responsibilities
As a Talent Acquisition Lead with Hines, you will work with HR Business Partners and the business to advance recruiting strategies, source top candidates and drive fair, diverse and equitable candidate pools and selection principles.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and implements recruiting/sourcing strategies and processes to support the hiring and business needs
- Suggests process improvements and ensures adherence to best practices
- Counsels and trains managers on staffing processes, regulatory compliance talent market insights
- Consults with hiring managers on developing short
– and long-term recruiting strategies, establishes efficient interview processes and implements process improvement measures - Interviews candidates and promotes the company, culture, benefits, etc.
- Ensures interview panel diversity and utilization of the leadership principles
- Recommends compensation packages to management, extends offers to candidates and finalizes start dates
- Researches, identifies and evaluates new sourcing methods used to recruit a diversified pool of candidates
- Manages and/or helps coordinate recruiting related projects and training sessions on a regular basis (Selecting Quality Employees training)
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field from an accredited institution
- Five or more years corporate recruiting experience in a variety of disciplines
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, proactive relationships with talent acquisition team, applicants, management, agencies/search firms and other vendors, as well as the ability to build partnerships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present and/or lead meetings
- Excellent organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must possess a strong drive for results and the flexibility/determination to get the job done
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and judgment when dealing with sensitive employment issues
- Must have judgment sufficient to analyze job requirements, determine applicants’ abilities, and to make hiring recommendations
- Ability to manage and/or help coordinate special projects and company-wide initiatives
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
