Currently, our retail locations are looking for skilled tailors who are able to perform meticulous alterations as well as perform professional prepares to our outdoor garments.
The ideal fitter/sewer will be familiar with technical fabrics in addition to being a motivated, results oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
As an ideal candidate, you are:
Passionate about the environment and sustainable explorer of the outdoors
A strong communicator with a knack for customer service
Experience in alterations/tailoring
Knowledgeable about safety and know the proper uses of all equipment in the shop
Efficient, organized, dependable and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Quick and action-oriented
Tech-savvy and adaptable
Comfortable with basic math and written skills
Accountable and show a high level of ownership and initiative
As a tailor, you can expect to:
Work non-conventional hours with a fun, diverse staff based on store needs
Organize workload and complete items on time to meet or exceed productivity targets
Be moving and interacting with coworkers and guests
Become an outdoor-equipment specialist and share your expertise with others in addition to performing and completing alterations/tailor fittings, and repairs according to service standards.
Take on new roles as your skills and knowledge grow
Actively build and maintain a Fjallraven client base
Educate customers and employees on proper fit, shop procedures, and guidelines in a professional and friendly manner
