Systems/Business Analyst Lead

job summary:
Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

Works with colleagues to develop cost benefit and business cases.

Analyzes, interprets and recommends through formal proposals and presentations to bank management on new and effective ways to provide new/updated technology based business systems applications.

responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Consults with bank colleagues regarding problems with current business applications or systems, enhancements, or new functionality.

Works with colleagues to develop cost benefits and business case analyses.

Defines the broader functional requirements for application or system as determined by bank colleagues.

Consults with Information Systems colleagues regarding hardware, software, communications requirements to determine integration required and obtains estimates for new resources needed.

Utilizes available resources and applies technical research techniques to collect and analyze information, systems and processes to determine the most useful cost-effective business solution to the bank.

Prepares business cases to support proposals for modification or introduction of new business applications or systems.

Presents recommendations to bank management.

Conducts process flow and financial analyses for proposal, including cost/benefit analysis, feasibility studies, etc.

Represents the Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs, business and industry-related organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate.

Fosters and maintains good relationships with colleagues to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent 1-3 years (minimum) experience.

Minimum 7 years’ experience working with Information technologies Minimum 8 years’ experience working in a business analysis function.

Minimum 3 years Microsoft Office software experience.

– 10 years of experience in business analysis processes.

Skills and Knowledge
Working knowledge of computers, peripheral equipment, and pertinent software applications.

Specific experience in Microsoft products is helpful.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

strong analytical skills and research techniques.

Excellent project management experience or business consulting skills preferred.
