Description: The San Vicente Bungalows is searching for dedicated Server Assistants for its restaurant!The San Vicente Bungalows is a high volume, action packed private members club and restaurant that serves only the finest ingredients.Full And Part Time positions available.
Must work minimum 3 shifts a week and full time is encouraged!Amazing benefits package including Health/Dental/Vision/401kPosition PurposeThe Server Assistant provides assistance to the wait staff in servicing the guests in a timely fashion.
This is a support position for the servers as well as grooming of the restaurant / club and its perimeters.
Duties and Responsibilities-Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift.
Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring crudité, water and bread to the tables.
Clear table after guests leave, take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc.
in appropriate areas for washing.
Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths.
Check floor and clean as required.
Reset and arrange tabletop.-Respond immediately and appropriately to guest requests.
Communicate these requests immediately with server, host and Maitre’ D to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with larger parties and peak periods.
Thank guests as they are leaving.
Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation.
Be a team player; help out fellow staff whenever possible.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes-Must be able to effectively communicate.
Must be able to follow directions with focus to detail.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job carry heavy trays and furniture (umbrellas, etc…) from time to time.
(30lb) Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
