The nations premier and most experienced wound care physicians group is looking for outstanding physician candidates. An ideal candidate isnt just looking for a new job. They are looking for a new career. Candidates with surgical experience preferred but BC/BE not required. Candidates should have an excellent bedside manner, ability to gel well with nurses, and have a similar passion for wound care as Skilled Physicians Group.
Pay and Benefits: Full time providers with a full workload make between $250,000 (25 pts/day with procedures) – $600,000 (50 pts/day with procedures) per year. Potential to earn even higher.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7 am – 4 pm. No weekend rounds.
Coverage: Be comfortable traveling to multiple skilled nursing facilities from your home. Visit anywhere from 1 to 4 nursing facilities per day on a weekly basis and see anywhere from 20-50 patients per day, while also performing bedside procedures. Our clinical team will provide comprehensive clinical and EHR training and support.
Skills Requirements: Feel confident performing bedside procedures including but not limited to debridements, incision and drainage, g-tube changes and other procedures. Must also be adept at the use of electronic health records and charting on time.
Weekend Coverage: may receive patient care calls from time to time that are handled via phone.
On Call Requirements: No specific requirement or schedule; however, provide availability to perform a procedure within 24 hours.
Training Requirements: Board Certification not required but experience in procedures and surgical disciplines strongly preferred.
Licensing: Must have an active medical license within the state without restriction.
