Supply Chain Coordinator

WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of procurement activities including the purchase of materials and services, vendor engagement and negotiation to deliver the highest possible value and manage supply chain logistics in partnership with project teams to ensure successful and timely outcomes.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities: Observe and analyze the entire supply chain and work with key internal stakeholders to improve logistics and efficiencyPartner with project teams to oversee the delivery of goods and services to ensure they are delivered and executed in alignment with the project planManage material cost/risk through a number of methods including price negotiation and alternative sourcing as requiredResponsible for submission of orders into the finance system to facilitate procurement of goods and services thru the corporate procurement teamIdentify, research and resolve discrepancies with any existing purchase ordersCoordination with the corporate procurement team for any changes required of existing purchase orders including cancellationContact vendors as needed to resolve any issues and respond to inquiriesProvide analysis and support of margin enhancement activities to assist field offices in achieving profitability expectationsSpecial projects as requiredWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and vendors in a professional and timely mannerAbility to lead with confidence and create alignment amongst various departments within the organizationAbility to understand and leverage existing company systems to provide solutions to the businessProven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operational initiatives with a results-oriented approachExceptional strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skillsProficiency in various business productivity systemsAbility to balance multiple tasks with changing prioritiesAbility to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organizationSelf-starter capable of working independently and ensuring deadlines are metExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to balance multiple tasks with changing prioritiesDemonstrate time management skills with attention to detail Education and/or Experience:Minimum of 4-year degree or comparable industry experience in supply chain or related field5 years of logistics operations experience preferredDemonstrated experience understanding and executing supply chain strategies, resulting in exceeding business targetsWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HERE Medical benefits, including vision and dentalPaid holidays, sick days, and personal daysEnjoyable and dynamic company cultureTraining and professional development opportunities MORE ABOUT US AVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
