Student Affairs Officer
Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of theFellowship Program Director, Assistant Program Director, Division Chief andDivision Administrator, serve as a Student Affairs Officer for the Hematology-OncologyFellowship Training Program. In this role, you will monitor fellow performanceand duty hours in MedHub and assist Program Coordinator with monitoring theevaluation, certification, and training verification of fellows; maintain allACGME and GME required documentation for programs; communicate with applicantsand fellows during the academic year. Assist with coordinating interviews andwill work with the Program Director and Program Coordinator to developconference schedules (Journal Club), program accreditation, and specialeducation projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
• Demonstrate proficiency in MedHub web-based Residency Management System
• Demonstrate PC proficiency in a Windows environment using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Email.
• Skill in writing, proofreading and editing using correct grammar, spelling punctuation and format.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent work streams and meet ongoing deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with faculty, staff, fellows and others.
• Ability to maintain and safeguard confidentiality of information and records with tact discretion.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines/work under pressure.
• Ability to coordinate large meetings with multiple attendees and to finalize details in advance of program meetings and educational seminars.
