The stroke specialists at Cedars-Sinai work in rapid-response teams from a variety of medical disciplines to diagnose and treat strokes, using the most advanced imaging technology and treatments to achieve the best possible outcome.

The Stroke Program Administrative Coordinator will support the administrative operations of the stroke program at all hospitals in the Cedars-Sinai network, including coordination with tele-stroke operations, stroke clinical research team members. Directly supporting the Medical Director, Stroke Faculty physicians, Vascular Neurology Fellows including stroke program network calendar, coordination of meetings development of agendas and presentations, meeting minutes as necessary, and special projects in coordination with the research and clinical operations team.

As a healthcare related position, the ability to interact with patients and connecting them to the appropriate clinician to address patient-care related concerns is essential. Will coordinate and maintain applicable timelines/schedules and agendas, including tracking deadlines, deliverables, communication with leadership and stakeholders. Will interface with other hospitals, leaders, and/or other partners in the administration of projects and provide coordination of applicable logistics or information as directed. Will maintain regulatory and compliance files.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of office and administrative experience
  • Advanced Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office-based programs
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and / or manage complex and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines and establish good rapport with interdepartmental stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Minimum High School Diploma / GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field preferred
