– we’re just getting started.nn nn Summary: nn nnThe Media Community Development (MCD) team builds scaled programs that help millions of media partners grow and succeed across FB, Inc platforms.

We seek an experienced Strategic Planning and Operations Leader to join the Media & Community Partnerships Strategic Planning & Operations (SP&O) team in support of this work.This leader will partner with the VP of MCD Partnerships and his global leads, and work closely with cross functional teams including analytics, operations, product marketing, finance, and HR.

This leads primary objectives are to deliver analysis and insights, which influence and drive analytically-based strategic decision-making and to assist MCD in executing strategic growth initiatives, increasing operational rigor, and maximizing the impact of their scaled partner support systems.

This person must have a highly flexible skillset to juggle a range of tasks, includingbut not limited toresource planning and analysis, business goal definition, data-driven business reporting, internal communications, change management, coordination and leadership of critical projects across the company, and contributions to team culture and values.

The superior candidate will be a proactive and creative problem solver who excels at synthesizing complex information into digestible communications and who develops nuanced strategic frameworks to drive decision-making across all MCD leads and teams.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of proactive operational leadership in a cross-functional environment, be a strategic thinker who can drive results, have a clear and concise communication style, and be able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects.

Experience building, running, or supporting scaled support organizations would be an asset.nn nn Required Skills: nn nnCollaborate with Partnerships leaders and other internal stakeholders to identify and execute key business initiatives, programs, resource planning opportunities, and special projects.nn nnProactively identify and find creative solutions for complex business challengesnn nnframe recommendations clearly to drive decision-making and contribute a strong point of view.nn nnDevelop a deep understanding of the business and be the person that can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration, and to identify and escalate cross-team issues quickly.nn nnLead operational reviews to drive decision-making and review progress on regional goals and priorities (e.g.

monthly business reviews).nn nnDrive leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities.nn nnIdentify areas of process improvement and build plans for teams to improve.nn nn Minimum Qualifications: nn nn7+ years of experience in strategic planning and/or business operations in the technology/internet space or relevant industry.nn nn4+ years of experience leading strategy, operations, or process improvement projects at a media organization.nn nn Preferred Qualifications: nn nnExperience working with scaled support organizations.nn nnDistinctive problem solving and analysis skills: experience solving complex and diverse business problems and driving projects from strategy to execution.nn nnDemonstrated leadership and influencing skills: experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.nn nnDemonstrable experience working cross-functionally with leadership in developing and executing successful plans.nn nnResults and detail oriented, with demonstrated commercial/business acumen.nn nnExcellent communication skills.nn nnExperience in Excel and PowerPoint.nn nn Industry: Internetnn nn Equal Opportunity: Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
