WHAT YOU NEED* High School Diploma or GED.* At least 1 year of related experience and/or training, preferably in a beverage or retail environment. Must have cash handling experience, preferably with a POS system.* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. POS system experience is strongly preferred.* Must possess a current RABS (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service) training certificate. Someone who has passion for the craft beer industry and loves the retail environment. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and operation of the store space, food and beverage service, inventory of merchandise and accurate completion of sales for both retail and food and beverage goods.THE BASICS* Displaying and sharing a passion for Craft Beer and possessing full knowledge of Stone Brewing and its offerings to correctly answer customer questions.* Handling the day-to-day presentation and upkeep of the Stone Tap Room; demonstrating a knowledge of ABC laws for legal sale of alcohol.* Monitoring and observing guests’ dining experience and ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service; responsibly serve alcohol.* Stocking inventory of the Stone Tap Room Merchandise.* Accurately operating POS system for sales of food, beer and merchandise.* Preparing menu items, including small plates, salads and flatbreads.* Closing the Tap Room properly and following the closing checklist for all stations.* Consistently maintaining all company and industry safety and sanitization practices and standards.* Willing to be a valuable Team Stone contributor who will practice open and respectful communication while assisting with identifying and driving process improvements.
