Job Functions: Create and promote a healthy team culture where individual employees have the capacity and feel empowered to work autonomously while striving to meet a common collaborative goal Lead and inspire team members to continuously grow, learn, and evolve personally and professionally Help build an exceptional team that will uphold and deliver our mission, vision, and goals to employees and customers Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions Assessing all employees’ performance to ensure they are all meeting targeted observation goals for the day in order to improve store’s financial/operational performance Documenting diligently of all reception/sales associate observations (areas of praise/growth) and reporting notes to management team Opening registers at the start of a shift Conducting register drops Applying store credit and discounts according to the store’s policy Applying employee discounts according to the store’s policy Handling defectives and exchanges according to the store’s 7-Day exchange policy Assisting in the store’s opening and closing protocols Assisting associates when resolving customer issues Monitoring the shop’s milieu by ensuring that front-line employees are always shouting their WELCOME’s; the overall vibes are upbeat and cheerful, and customers are leaving 100% satisfied with plans to return Administering and documenting all breaks to employees at appropriate times Overseeing that each employee does not hit meal penalties Overseeing timely returns from breaks Coordinating bathroom/water breaks for employees accordingly Checking in with new employees regarding their knowledge, growth, and capacity within position Training and evaluating new receptionists/sales associates to ensure they can abide by all company’s standard operating procedures Ensuring sales associates are putting products back in its original place and tidying their zones Conducting energizing daily huddles to inform the team about daily deals, promotions, new drops, slow movers and their prices/selling points Ensure sales associates are following proper cash handling protocol Assisting in the maintenance of display cases Serving as the liaison between receptionists/sales associates and managers Other duties as can be assigned by management and are not limited to the following: Conducting supply inventory counts, ensuring employees are punching in and out appropriately, issuing walkies at the beginning of the shift, and confirming all walkies have been returned at end of shift.
