Staffing Advisor
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Staffing Advisor for a contract position in Los Angeles, CA. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Screen candidates based on a review of job requirements, candidate qualifications, phone screens, etc. and refer qualified candidates to hiring manager. Partner with internal clients and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategy to fill open positions and ensure compliance with employment laws and alignment with Company’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
- Facilitate job requisition and posting process, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation are completed. Source candidates using internal and external networks, social media, community outreach, educational institutions, and external agencies. Create, present, and negotiate verbal and written job offers.
- Support client organization on interview development and use of appropriate selection tools. Conduct formal new employee orientation program. Responsible for the new employee onboarding process, in collaboration with hiring managers, Serve as Company liaison with candidates during hiring, transfer and onboarding processes ensuring appropriate documentation requirements are met.
- Represent the employer to outside entities, providing organizational information, promoting job opportunities, and describing company programs and benefits.
- Support the company’s college recruitment program. Build and maintain relations with individual schools of study relevant to recruitment needs as well as student organizations, college career centers and professors.
- Facilitate intern programs based on client needs. Train client organizations on recruitment processes including panel interview training. Provide guidance and policy interpretation on general human resources staffing policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources Management, Business, related field, or equivalent training and experience. 3 years experience in a Human Resource-Recruiting capacity.
- Preferred Experience: 5+ years of corporate recruiting experience with a track record of success in filling complicated external searches Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) Candidates sourcing and pipelining Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification
- Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal skills – ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and personalities. Oral Communications – effective communicator. Communicate in a clear, concise and tactful manner.
- Computer skills – proficient in MS Office suite. Knowledge of employment labor laws tied to Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). Broad understanding of all Human Resources functions including compensation, benefits and employee development. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding applicant and employee information.
