Documentation on all services provided must be submitted within 24-hours of service delivery.

Clinical staff participates in all meetings and supervision activities.

The Staff Psychologist will also assist with any other project as indicated by the Director of Clinical Services or the Assistant Director of Psychology.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains accurate and up-to-date clinical charts with appropriate and timely completion of all required documentation, including but not limited to, assessments, progress notes, testing notes, treatment planning and discharge.Provides full services to an assigned caseload, including individual, group, couples, family psychotherapy, case recording and management.Implements and is responsible for the treatment planning needs of assigned client caseload.Makes and implements client behavioral plan recommendations, as needed.Conducts psychological testing, completes a written report of findings, and provides clinical feedback of results to patients and pertinent staff and community members.Participates in assigned program, treatment planning, and in-service training meetings as scheduled.Productively participates in weekly individual and group supervision.

Maintains and improves clinical skills, through supervision, training seminars and classes.

Follows supervisors directives.Maintains an objective and professional relationship with clients at all times.Works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary treatment team, including timely and affective communications.Effectively presents clinical case material as needed.Communicates effectively with clients, their family members and significant others.Maintains active and effective liaison with relevant community agencies and initiates collateral contact with family, friends, board and care operators referring agencies and professionals as needed for the clients continuity of care.Exercises good judgment by objectively and unemotionally analyzing facts, weighing evidence, utilizing clinical skills and reaching sound conclusions.Responds appropriately under difficult or stressful circumstances.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of medications, working knowledge of current diagnostic manual.Clinical experience in provision of individual or group treatment and training with multi-racial (ethnic) populations.Clinical experience delivering short-term treatment interventions.Clinical experience conducting intake assessments.Clinical treatment of both acute and chronic mentally ill population.Crisis intervention experience.Experience with family therapy.Experience with inpatient hospital population.Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.Treatment and discharge planning.Working knowledge of community resources.Experience with preparation of written client evaluations.EDUCATION:Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an accredited university.Licensed or eligible for licensure Psy.D.

or Ph.D.Waivered or Waiver-eligible Ph.D.

or Psy.D.

(Psychological Assistant or Registered Psychologist in CA accepted).REQUIREMENTS:Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.TB clearance.California Drivers License.Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.Fire and Safety Training*.First Aid Training Certification*.CPR Certification*.Management Of Aggressive Behavior*(M.O.A.B.).* Note: If indicated certifications/licenses are lacking, they must be obtained within 180 days of hire.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job you must be able to carry out all essential functions successfully.
