Job Description Underwrite new lending facilities primarily forMiddle Market companies consisting of various C&I loan structures and various loan sizes – lines of credit,other secured facilities(formula based receivables,Inventory financing, non-formula) and(cash flow) facilities,includingowner-occupied term loans in the Consumer Product, Food & Beverage, and other growth sectors targeted by the bank. Complete all underwriting assignments on a timely basis. Monitor and report all deterioration in credit quality to the underwriting manager, relationship manager, and group head. Prepare loan pricing/profitability models, using PD & LGD risk parameters as accurate inputs relating to the subject facility. Attend client meetings with the account officers andassist with new business development by structuring facility that complieswithbank’s credit policy and borrower/sponsor risk profile. identify client needs and cross-sell opportunities, including interest rate swaps. Comply with all of the bank’s and department’s policies and procedures. Work on special projects asassigned. Complete all required training courses in a timely fashion. Qualifications Underwriterneeds to have strong credit and organizational skillsas well as solid understanding ofC&I credit facilities (lines of credit, asset reliant loans including A/R, Inventory and IP, owner occupied commercial real estate and to a lesser extent, cash flow loans) with varying loan sizes. Minimum experience of 4- 7years inunderwriting required. Must be able to work as part of the Middle Office team working together with Underwriting Manager, Relationship Managerand Group Head Willingness to take on special projects as needed Familiarity with systems (Moody’s spreading software, Salesforce), underwritingprocesses and profitability modelsusing the dual risk rating system (PD/LGD) as applied to RAROC based pricing. Should possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work in a collaborative environment and meettight deadlines Bachelor’s degree in a related field required Compensation The expected annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $190,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience.
