Duties include solving problems and resolving test code defects, test environment and infrastructure issues, as well as working with test management, bug tracking, source control, database, requirements management, reporting, and other tools.In the course of performing this function, the individual relies on his or her extensive background in software development, QA activities, system integration, manual and automated testing, frameworks, and associated organizational processes.Perform both “black box” and “gray box” testing by analyzing applications and requirements, crafting, and executing test cases.Integrate, support, use and maintain bug tracking systems such as JIRA. Source control tools such as GitHub. Test case management applications such as qTestWork with QA team members, software developers and system and database administrators to trouble-shoot test failures in the various test environments. This may include trouble-shooting database issues using SQL queries, reviewing web server and application server logs, etcRequired Qualifications:5+ years’ experience performing software testing2+ years end-to-end Integration testing experience with multi-tier systems & applicationsWeb services, API testing experienceExtensive experience with Relational Databases, composing and running SQL queriesExperience with Agile development methodologies such as SAFe, ScrumMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldDesired Skills:Develop, execute automation scripts in Java using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and JMeter.Experience working with large-scale project repository of test cases and defectsExperience using JIRA for bug tracking and Agile practicesExperience using test management tools for test plan and executionAbility to work effectively with Product Owners, Managers, and Engineers towards a common goalAWS experience / Cloud platforms and toolsExperience with Splunk, JSON, XMLExperience testing on PS4, PS5, or other console-based client devicesAbout you:An excellent teammate who can both collaborate and also drive projects independentlyExcellent verbal and written communications skillsAnalytical & detail-oriented#LI-TM2Equal Opportunity Statement:Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
