We are hiring a SW Procurement Specialist to work at Lenovos North American Headquarters in Morrisville, NC.
This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams and our suppliers.
This is an exciting role that is well suited for individuals that enjoy having data at their fingertips to analyze and build reports.
What Youll Do As part of the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) Software Procurement Team, this position will have the following responsibilities:
• Managing software royalty price lists with varying formats
• Creating and managing multiple audit-ready reports on a frequent basis
• Analyzing complex data to identify gaps, issues and inconsistencies
• Developing creative solutions to “high-touch” supplier requirements by collaborating with other ISG process teams
• Interfacing with Lenovo cross-functional teams to understand their software activation and reporting requirements Position Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• 5 years in a sales analyst and/or business operations role, preferably for a technology company
• Strong IT analytic skills and experience with CRM and SAP (BO/HANNAH)
• Working knowledge in the following areas:
– SAP fulfillment;
– Product announcement and engineering change process;
– Financial accounting and reconciliation principles;
– Data analysis across complex relational databases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in relational reporting tools such as Hyperion, SQL and Microsoft Excel, as well as being skilled in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Access
• Self-motivated and directed with established organizational ability
• Prioritization skills with the ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to summarize detailed data from multiple sources for management summary, while determining data patterns and discrepancies
