Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) has an exciting IT position available that supports the Raytheon mission of making the world a safer place.
Raytheon (RI&S) Digital Technology Program Execution (PE) is seeking an IT Manager with proven track record of driving operational excellence and developing talent to keep pace with business evolving needs and technology advancements in the classified environments.
The Manager will provide people and technical directions to 15-20 team members in the El Segundo, CA location.
This leader will be required to interface with all levels of program and functional leadership across the business and enterprise in support of strategic and program operational efforts.
The position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
* Hire and develop high performing team
* Identify opportunities for team training and skill advancements
* Drive technical direction to simplify IT operations management and reliability using automation
* Provide direction for IT team members and track operations performances through KPI metrics
* Apply analytics against metrics and operational data to drive continuous improvements
* Maintain organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and support strategic plans for implementing information technologies
* Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements
* Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
* Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
* Conduct regular operation audits
* Pulling and sharing operation report with senior leaders
* Overseeing and determining time frames and resources for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, audits and outages
* Managing IT budget
* Preserve operations integrity by ensuring team members have appropriate business continuity plan and systems are compliant in accordance to RMF requirements
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
Required Skills:
* Must have a minimum of 18 years related professional experience
* Solid understanding of IT infrastructure technology stacks
* Familiar with Risk Management Framework (DAAPM, JSIG, etc)
* Operational planning
* Forecast and labor estimates
* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
* Developing budgets
* Resource and capacity management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including matrixed environment

* Ability to shape opinions of key stakeholders and influence outcomes
Desired Skills:
* Agile SAFe certified
* Familiar with managing work through JIRA
* ITIL Foundation certified
* Familiar with cloud technologies and services
* Strategic planning and technical roadmap development
Required Education (including Major):
* Bachelor’s degree and 10 years relevant experience or 18 years’ experience in lieu of Degree
