The Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse provides nursingsupport and leadership to the department clinics. Major duties include: providepatient care in an outpatient setting, assist with procedures, start I.V.s, performvenipuncture, administer medications, manage patient flow, collect data asappropriate and provide back-up for the clinic front desk, as needed. Theincumbent spends a significant portion of time contributing to the developmentand implementation of a teaching plan related to self-care for the patient. The LVN will traveland work at other department clinics throughout the community as assigned bythe supervisor for coverage. Other duties, as assigned.
