Level QA SDET Engineer Data Quality Engineer ndash 12 months + Experienced with Automation scale, must be able to build in an automated way and must be able scale.
Ability to write code in Scala, SQL and Python.
Strong hands-on experience testing ETL JAVA, Selenium, and exp writing test scripts in JAVA.
We need seasoned QA Engineers who have an automation focus, who do not need to be trained or hand held, should have solid exp in the data space and exp with calculations in SQL not dependent on tools such as informatica.
Must be a critical thinker, and have done heavy deep diving into the data themselves.
Must have strong understanding or Quality and Engineering and have exp translating requirements, and have conducted project work based upon Metrics.
Working directly with Data Engineers Data Product Managers to develop functional and regression tests to ensure the quality of data.
Work in a focused and nimble team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas Involved in all phases of product development, starting from requirements to validation and deployment Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Create, maintain, and improve automation test suites and frameworks Required Qualifications bull Hands on experience with MapReduce or other Hadoop implementations including a deep understanding of Hive or Pig to query and process data in Hadoop bull Expert level experience with SQL, TSQL or HQL to validate ETL jobs bull Experience with at least one mainstream Data Warehousing system (Snowflake, Vertica, Oracle) along with expert knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts Experience working with Big Data technologies (Cloudera, Hortonworks, HadoopSpark etc) , relational databases (Sql ,mySql) bull Familiarity with high-volume low latency data platform and technology stacks such as Spark, Kafka, Druid and etc.
bull Proficiency in Java or a similar Object-Oriented language along with strong scripting skills (bashPython) bull Excellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issues bull Experience working within a CICD environment along with familiarity of Jenkins bull Experience with automation tools such as TestNG, JUnit.
