Engineering team The Piñata Farms engineering team organizational structure is flat.
We own our data ingestion/cleaning/filtering pipeline, the machine learning model training pipeline, the app client, and the backend.
We believe strongly that keeping these core components in-house allows us to communicate better and build a more robust product.
Frontend Engineering We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Sr Frontend Engineer to play a core role in designing and building various web clients at Piñata Farms, both for internal infrastructure and consumer facing products.
You would be a critical part of the team as the product moves out of internal beta testing and becomes publicly available.This will include work on multiple different interfaces including but not limited to: internal tooling for user communication and growth, the pinatafarm company website, user onboarding systems, and external user features We are looking for the brightest minds eager to work on problems that are both technically and socially challenging.
Your work on building beautiful and intuitive interfaces for both internal and external products will drive success at all layers in the company.
Past expertise with consumer products (Snapchat, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and web based creative tools is a plus.
Skills

or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or similar related field and/or minimum 3 years of experience.
Experienced with: * Various frontend frameworks (Vue (preferred), React, vanilla html/css)* Building smooth, complex interfaces* Content heavy sites (images, videos, metadata)* Scaling web traffic and optimizing backend calls Preferred Experience with: * D3.js or other data visualization frameworks* GraphQL, Protobuffers, various compression technologies* Server Side Rendering (SSR)* Search engine optimization Location: Los Angeles but open to remote
