Responsibilities In this role you will perform a variety of duties in cleaning and sanitation. You will also be responsible for: sweeping, mopping and scrubbing the floors as assigned washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash in waste bins cleaning, sanitizing and lining all trash containers and linen hampers washing and steaming rubber floor mats properly storing of housekeeping equipment and reporting all equipment malfunctions washing dishes, pans, utensils and small equipment according to established procedures adhering to prescribed safety and sanitation practices and proceduresQualifications Ability to: adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules conform to dress code and work in non-smoking environment have good hygiene lift and move over 50 pounds practice safe food handling techniques read and write, follow oral and written instructions in the English language stand and walk for long periods work in hot, cold and/or wet areas, lift 40 lbs, push loaded carts weighing 350 lb. work in standing position for a long period of time: stretch, bend, stoop and reach repetitively work with minimal supervision Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools Organization skills Physical strength and stamina Time-management and multitasking abilities Must have a GED or High School DiplomaUCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
